Oysters and IPA

Oysters go well with hoppy IPAs which have tastes and aromas with hints of aniseed, coriander, mint, basil, fennel and citrus.

Double IPAs are also a great choice with which to enjoy a few oysters. We would personally recommend 'HardCore IPA' by the Scottish brewery Brewdog or the extremely delicious but hard to get 'Pliny the Elder' by Russian River Brewing Co. in Sonoma County in California.

Our latest IPA and oyster tasting was with this Route 113 American IPA from Sly Fox Brewing Co., an easy drinking and good oyster slurping accompaniment. Give it a go!
